Just how long have I been working with cameras?
I was 12 here.
That was my first "big girl" camera, a Canon Rebel t2i. Luckily, my photos have gotten a little more sophisticated than taking pictures of my Starbucks and movie theater glasses. In the time since this picture, I have acquired over a decade of experience with photography. I have explored every niche and every setting on my camera.
Now, I have the privilege of being paid to use my camera (now a Canon R6). But photography is not merely about cameras. It's about being able to capture a moment and bring it to life. It's understanding the essence of the person you are shooting. It's a sense of passion and creativity that will drive you to go an extra mile for the shot.
I'm based in central New Jersey, but travel all around the metro area (and beyond). Outside of photography, I listen to rock and alternative music. I'm an amateur guitarist. I love the mountains, as you will see in my photos.
